A big way to go


Finally, humans have thought of a better way to deal with elephant dung. Don’t laugh. Elephants can produce over 35kg dung in a single day. That’s a lot of shoveling for handlers an zoo staff, so the invention of an elephant toilet is welcome news to zookeepers.
For some very clever Thai elephants, learning how to use the toilet was small potatoes. They got it down in a mere two days, flushing and all. After all, they already know how to paint, dance and play musical instruments. And unlike humans, the elephants don’t seem to feel shy about using the toilet in full view.
Perhaps next we will think of a solution for nuclear waste, or more likely, invent new giant plungers.
